The Coastal Fellowship of Christian Athletes is making an impact for Jesus through the influence of athletes and coaches at middle schools, high schools, and colleges in Chatham, Effingham, and Bryan Counties.
How do we do it?
Each week FCA is ministering to over 1000 students, athletes, and coaches at schools , either through campus or team huddles. These small groups may participate in bible studies, devotionals, or chapels.
Why is it effective?
FCA encourages Christian athletes and coaches to use their influence to share the love of Christ to their peers, inviting them to join FCA and attend church.
What is the Banquet?
The Banquet is our annual fundraiser. Donors who give $25/month or more to support the Coastal FCA ministry are given tickets to invite guests to hear our speakers and consider supporting the ministry. Since our ministry is wholly supported through local giving, the Banquet is the way we thank our supporters and give them an opportunity to meet some local athletes being impacted by their generosity. Because it is held only once each year we asks that only adults attend.
What is an Event?
FCA host many Events every year. Sponsor, donors, and guests, as well as athletes and coaches come to hear speakers or participate in an activity. These are large ministry events focused around the entire community.
Who are Banquet or Event Sponsors?
Banquet or Event Sponsors are those who underwrite the expenses for the ministry so that the funds raised at the Banquet or Event will go directly to serving the athletes and coaches of Coastal Georgia. Banquet and Event Sponsors enjoy VIP Reception prior to the Banquet or Event where they and their guests can meet, take pictures, and get autographs from our speakers. |
